Unfortunately, the Trevi Fountain was under construction at the time of our visit.
The sun hitting the roof in the Pantheon.
The Guards outside the Altare Della Patria doing their thang.
Between seeing the Pope in the Vatican on Palm Sunday to hanging out at the alter of Rome, visiting the Vatican Museums ( which was a lot more walking than I ever thought I'd do in a museum - 3 hours- ) another thing I'm definitely going to miss has to be the glorious Italian food.
If you ever visit Rome, I would wholeheartedly recommend finding an authentic Italian restaurant to eat in at least once. Yes, eating out in Rome can be a tad bit on the expensive side but there are plenty of good deals to fit any budget. AVOID tourist areas, tourist traps more like, instead venture into alleyways where you are bound to find small restaurants brimming with authenticity and culture calling your name. Just make sure you read exactly what you're ordering!
All the pictures above ( excluding those on the postcards) are some of the insane amount of photographs I took myself. Due to the image overload I've decided to keep the writing short and sweet. But don't worry, this isn't the last you'll be seeing of wonderful Roma!
